If you’ve heard of the name Louis Wah, the owner of Wah Wah Burger, then you know that he famous for his delicious, high quality burgers that he offers in several creative renditions. So when he opens Wahrung at the fancy Seminyak Village, his burger is one of our must-try list. Wahrung has a series of Black Burger, their signature dish, which includes the Pulled Pork Burger, Aussie Aged Sirloin Burger, Zero Fat Chicken Burger, Fish Fillet Burger and Veggie Burger. No MSG, just pure clean quality meats that is cooked perfectly over their homemade bun. Their black bun is made of Japanese bamboo charcoal that is super healthy. It’s sinful to imagine their Aussie Aged Sirloin Burger topped with seared foie gras and wild berries reduction. But, darn it, it’s worth every single calories.

Where: Jl. Drupadi 18, Seminyak.

I think we got the message by now that burger is two buns with patty in the middle. But, what can we add to the mix? Apparently everything, at least, that is according to the people at Wacko Burger. First choose your patty… is it beef, double beef, massive beef (500gr yikes), fish, chicken, veggie or their famous wagyu beef patty. Then choose your cheese, whether it’s cheddar, pepper spread, or blue cheese. Then add your toppings, starting from grilled zucchini, pickles, fried egg, bacon to onion rings. Then choose two (or more) out of the 12 sauce selections that they have. Oh my God, our mouth is watering just imagining it. Come and visit this gourmet burger café and build your own burger.

Where: the junction of Jl. Petitenget and Jl. Cendrawasih

You can hardly go wrong when you have dry-aged beef, maple-glazed bacon and cheddar cheese. This is what The Butchers Club called The Burger in their menu. It’s the IT burger to try. With six outlets spread throughout Bali, Hong Kong and Singapore, this place is serious about their burger. Other than The Burger, they have six other burger selections to choose from. Go for the Double Happiness if you just feel like two of everything. The Captain Ahab is for the fish lover, where they deep fried the panko-breaded barramundi fillet and mix it with homemade tartar sauce and spicy coleslaw. Or try the Wu Tang Style where the meat is fried in sriracha, and topped with cheese, kimchi, kewpie mayo and tempura sweet potato. Now that is what I called a blast of flavors in one bite.

4. BO$$ MAN

Where: Jl. Kayu Cendana No 8b

When Sisterfields first open, they gained so much popularity that people wanted more. Then this burger place opens up next to them, and they open till 4AM, that they become Seminyak IT place to be after a night of partying. BO$$ MAN serves up six signature burgers: Original Gangster, the smokey Al Capone, the spicy Kim “Chi” Un and the sticky Notorious P.I.G. There’s also the Adonis with 36 hour lamb shoulder, and The Gandhi for veggie bosses. All of BO$$ MAN’s burgers are made using top quality ingredients, from 60-day dry-aged chuck steaks shaped in-house daily, to juicy, tender pork cooked low and slow over 18 hours, loaded with BO$$ MAN sauces – all homemade. You come, you eat and you repeat. That is the Bo$$ Man spell.

Yes, we know when you go to EatWell it is to eat their famous Crispy Pork Belly. But the thing is, EatWell has the best meat selections in the island and that translates well in each and every one of their dishes. With this in mind, try their burger. They only have three types of burger. We love their Pulled Pork Burger, which is 200gr of pulled pork topped with cheddar cheese, homemade mayo and bbq sauce. Or for a different type of pork, try their Bacon & Egg Burger. This is heaven, with stacks of crispy bacon and egg served in a burger bun. If you really want to test their high-quality meat, go for the EatWell Burger, which is 200gr of Australian Minced Wagyu Beef Patty with fries, ketchup and homemade mayo with an option to add crispy bacon, mozzarella cheese and egg. YUM!
