7 Reasons Why We Love The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali

There are many reasons why people travel to Bali… for business, holiday with families or simply looking for an adventure. But sometimes, we got all caught up with itineraries and schedules that we forgot what the holiday goals are: wellness and relaxation! So we visit Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali, that is famous for always taking great care of its guest. We experience it first hand, here are 7 things that we love about them.

1. The Old Balinese Charm
We’ve all had our share of budget hotels and minimalistic design. But when we could only take a few days off work and wanted an escape, this is not what we want. Entering The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali you immediately changed into the island vibes. Great big palm trees, tropical flowers, Balinese carving on the stone wall, green grass with a small stone path leading up to the gorgeous beach… this is what we’re talking about. We love how nature surrounded the whole resort, and they can blend it perfectly with all the modern facilities and amenities. Guest will be greeted by a big gong and Balinese Dancers and traditional Balinese music are right by the entrance as if they are welcoming a royalty. We love it!

2. They make sure we get a GREAT SLEEP
We all know and love the signature Heavenly® Bed at Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali. But that’s not the only thing this hotel has to ensure that their guest gets a great night sleep. First, they offered an option to schedule a restful reminder – so the staff will call to our room and remind us when we should turn-in and power-down to get a great night’s sleep. You can opt-in upon request through the Westin Service Express team. Their wellness specialist, Jitendra Pokhriyal, can also teach you basic yoga breathing techniques that we can do to sleep better. They also got a Sleep Well Lavender Balm bedside amenity, and the Sleep Well in-room dining menu, so that we can rise up feeling rejuvenated and perhaps return home with a new #SleepStrong-inspired routine.

3. They Got Your Cravings Covered!
What should we have for lunch or dinner? Are we feeling like eating Indonesian food, Japanese, Spanish or Italian? Just choose and walk to these restaurants from your room because The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali has some of the best restaurants in Bali. Every Monday, they have the Japanese Unlimited and Sushi Making Cooking Class every Thursday. A great way to bond with the family. For a romantic night with your spouse, visit Velada Restaurant for their Spanish cuisines and amazing wine selections. If you’re visiting on a Sunday, Prego Sunday Brunch is one of the best brunch options in the island for the whole family. They got great Italian food and lots of activities for the kids. At the Bar and Lounge, you can enjoy Afternoon Tea from 3.30PM until 5 PM – where they have an array of SuperFoodsRx delicacies with JING tea or Illy coffee. Meanwhile, for the authentic Balinese flavor, visit Ikan Restaurant and Bar by the beach.

4. Pool, pool, and pool!
We have to write it three times because there’s so many to choose from. The freeform freshwater pool is surrounded by waterfalls, lush greenery, numerous loungers and umbrellas, and dream beds for indulgent reclining under canopies. Meanwhile, the expansive saltwater pool leads to the children’s pool that features a 12-meter water slide. Under the blazing hot Bali sun, the pool always seems like a great idea. But rather than just lounging around and get tanned, they got an in-house instructor that helps guests stay fit with aquatic exercise, pool volleyball, and other activities. Or you can just sleep in your floaties all day long while sipping on a fresh coconut. That is heaven indeed.

5. They Keep you fit!
#NoExcuses. Whatever your reason is for staying at the Westin, you should not forget to stay in shape. And here at Westin, well, we got no more excuses not to exercise. They got fitness classes, yoga classes led by Jitendra Pokhriyal, healthy cooking courses, panel discussions, and robust itineraries of wellness activities. Didn’t pack your sports equipment? Well, they got a GEAR LENDING facilities that offer New Balance shoes and clothing for you to use during your stay for only $5.00 USD. The WESTINWORKOUT™ Fitness Studio open 24 hours every day. There are even some rooms that offer the service of In-Room Workouts, where they will prepare a treadmill or a stationary bike, so you can exercise at any hour of the day in the privacy of your own room. The great thing about this is how The staff at Westin make this whole wellness vibe fun and easy to do for anyone. It is part of their DNA and it shows in every element of the hotel.

6. They Keep us Relaxed.
Sometimes, you need a holiday from your holiday. Been there, done that. But when you stay at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, you can experience the ultimate relaxation at their award-winning Heavenly Spa. Just take your kids to the Kids Club (one of our favourite place), and you can get away for a couple of hours and try the treatments. They believe in engaging the seven senses throughout the treatments: the five physical senses of sight, sound, touch, taste, and scent, as well as the psychological senses of emotion and meaning. After or before the treatment, you get to try all of their Thermal facilities, starting from the Herbal Steam Room, Himalayan Salt Wall Sauna, Hydro Jet Pool and Cold Plunge. Ultimate BLISS!

7. They got Jitendra Pokhriyal!
Last but not least, the one reason you should come to The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali is to meet their wellness specialist, Jitendra Pokhriyal. We have mention his name several times now. That’s because as a resort that focuses their services on the well-being of their guest, have to choose the perfect wellness ambassador – and Jitendra is it. He teaches daily yoga classes at the Heavenly Spa, including the weekly Ashtanga Yoga class. What we love about him is how he is always motivating and inspiring us, without giving us pressure that we have to do this or that. He pushes us to try but also to listen to our body and how far it can go. We always love his classes. So if you haven’t got the chance to meet him, just stay at The Westin Resort Nusa Dua Bali. A conversation or a class with Jitendra could be life changing!

    Hi “What’s New Team”

Great to learn that there is also a What’s New Bali next to the Jakarta version.
I hope I can enjoy it as much as I do for years now with Jakarta
