A Night of Hope at The Stones Hotel – Legian Bali

What is Christmas all about? It’s about sharing the love and hopes to our surroundings. The Stones Hotel – Legian Bali, did just that.

When it’s Christmas Season in Bali, everyone is always getting ready to buy the gifts, set up the decor, planning the holidays and practising their carols. These are all part of Christmas that get people in the mood. However, there’s also another side to it. So when The Stones Hotel invited us to do a Christmas Tree Lighting early December, we did not know that we are in for a treat.

The surprise is not only on us but for the kids of Yayasan Solemen. The Stones Hotel (and Santa Claus) invited Yayasan Solemen to the hotel’ first Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Yayasan Solemen accepted the invitation and brought 30 of the children that they currently care for. As an Indonesian registered non-profit Foundation formed in October 2010 to raise awareness and provide funds to support accredited agencies and projects for the disadvantaged in Bali, Solemen is currently caring for 1236 people with different background and conditions in Bali. The kids are excited to see the Santa and had fun doing the cupcake decorating, and enjoying the amazing dinner at The Stones Hotel. Afterwards, it’s all about Christmas carolling, eggnog, gifts and enjoying the holiday cheer with these brave and strong kids.

You too can make these children’s Christmas wish come true, and HOPE to see their smiles again. How? Just come to the Stones Hotel and help adopt one of the Teddy Bears available at The Stones Hotel. With IDR 200,000 you can give HOPE a new home and help Yayasan Solemen continue their mission of helping people. Thank you The Stones Hotel!
