In collaboration with French community in Bali, The Trans Resort Bali commenced the French National Day celebration (known as Bastille Day) last Saturday on 15 July 2017, when the Ambassador of French to Indonesia Mr. Jean-Charles Berthonnet is invited to open this annual French ceremony.
Jointly organised by one of the respected board members of the organizing committee, de Saint Priest d’Urgel, Marie Francoise, Bastille Day 2017 celebration at The Trans Resort Bali turned out to be a splendid event filled with French cultures, cuisines, and entertainment which was attended by 400 guests and dignitaries.
The evening started with a welcoming cocktail reception at The Trans Resort Bali’s grand lobby. Surrounded by a serene tropical garden overlooking the signature White Sandy Beach Pool, beautifully crafted Italian marble in Balinese pattern, and an iconic Murano Glass chandelier give a grand entrance as the guests arrived. The curated music from one of Indonesia’s best musicians, Thomson Napitupulu combined with effervescent Champagne and flavourful cocktails, offered the social ritual as the celebration started.
Afterwards, the guests are invited to sing French and Indonesia national anthems before Mr. Jean-Charles Berthonnet marked the opening of Bastille Day with special speech about French national day including sharing information about economy and tourism partnerships between France and Indonesia for the upcoming years.
Lending a dazzling Bastille Day celebration to The Trans Resort Bali, guests are spoiled with a lavish French buffet theme at The Restaurant prepared by French Chef, Amaury Belkhanfar (Executive Sous Chef of The Trans Resort Bali), while enjoying the performance of live DJ entertainment, Magician, and LED Drum Show. Guests who bought the raffle tickets also could get the chance on winning a complimentary stay at The Trans Resort Bali. To complete the celebration, a spectacular fireworks display launched at the end of the evening, where guests were being entertained by more than 5-minutes rockets exploding over the top of the resort.
