There is a growing trend among Chinese travellers to explore luxury accommodation and be more adventurous in seeking out new destinations. More and more travellers from China are also considering Indonesia as a destination for their weddings and events. With this in mind, the Indonesian Tourism Board is joining hands with Chinese celebrity Christy Chung to promote Indonesia as a unique and exciting destination for Chinese travellers.
Straddling the equator, between the continents of Asia and Australia and between the Pacific and Indian Oceans, Indonesia is a land of great diversity, offering a spellbinding mix of relaxation and adventure, history and culture, age-old traditions and modernity. From the paradise island of Bali to the bustling metropolis of Jakarta, or the underwater beauty of Raja Ampat and Komodo National Park, Indonesia invites travellers to discover its many distinct sides.
“Indonesia’s many magnificent islands offer some of the world’s top tourist destinations as well as some true hidden gems. Through our collaboration with Christy Chung and several of Indonesia’s leading luxury hotels, we look forward to introducing many new visitors to the best experiences Indonesia has to offer,” said Indonesia’s Tourism Minister, Arief Yahya.
This event is hosted by The Ministry of Tourism Indonesia, sponsored by Leworldtrip, FanYuanYuan Photography, Muse MV Production and three leading luxury hotels in Bali, to promote Indonesian tourism. Christy Chung’s “Wonderful Indonesia ” journey began this week with several luxurious stays in Bali, including at The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villa-Nusa Dua Bali, Alila and Banyan Tree.
Christy Chung and Shawn Zhang’s trip to Bali started at The World’s Number One Beach Resort as rated by Conde Nast Traveler – The Mulia, Mulia Resort & Villa-Nusa Dua, Bali (www.themulia.com), where the family spend their holiday with fun time activities. Their experience started from Mulia Villas where the family stayed and began their day with an active lifestyle Zumba Dance class and various other activities provided by the resort match with Christy and Shawn’s fit lifestlye. In the afternoon, family celebrated the 8th birthday of Christy’s daughter – Jaden at Mulia Kidz club, followed by strolling on the beach and sand making activity. Their holiday also completed with the dining experience at the resort’s signature restaurants, with authentic cuisines from all corners of the globe, that tantalize their senses without compromise. Her visit to Alila included a voyage to the Komodo National Park, sailing on the stunning Alila Purnama, a 46-metre ship handcrafted in the traditional style of a Phinisi as used by the Bugis seafarers from south Sulawesi.
