FAT GAJAH’s Fine Noodles, Dumplings & Cocktails, the latest Brainchild of Chef/Owner Agung Nugroho of CHANDI Restaurant in Seminyak, opened its Doors on 23 September 2013.
FAT GAJAH is an all day Asian Brasserie serving Fine Noodles, Dumplings, Asian Cocktails and New Zealand Marlborough Wines in the Heart of “Old Seminyak”, on Jalan Raya Seminyak, n. 21 — (across from Café Moka).
FAT GAJAH’s Menu offers 12 Different Dumplings and 7 Noodles prepared in 9 distinctive ways. The Dumplings are Steamed or Flash Fried to a perfect Crisp, Salads and Teasers are served from 12 Noon throughout the evening. The Drinks Menu is infused with Asian Flavors, Fruits, Roots and Herbs, while the Spirits are all available Neat or involved in complex concoctions. The Wine list offers the daily “3” Wines by the Glass and Champagnes by the Bottle.
FAT GAJAH’s subtle and elegant esthetic combines Subway Tiles, a Dark Mosaic Marble floor, Light Woods, Mirrors, Bamboo, Cement and Iron Chandeliers, all laid out to offer all kinds of seating possibilities. Music plays a key role in setting an atmosphere “laid out to be laid back”, allowing patrons to enjoy a single cocktail or a prolonged meal.
