This year, to celebrate, they will host the Malu Dong Festival on Lapangan Puputan Badung, Denpasar on the 22nd and 23rd of April 2017. They will highlight the theme: “Together We Can: Clean Ocean and Mountain, Clean Bali.” Even though the event is held on Earth Day, their program had been initiated long before that. They had the “Aren’t You Ashamed to Litter?” in Denpasar and Gianyar. They also perform a beach cleaning activity every Sunday at 5 PM with 20-50 volunteers every week. Every three months they also organize a Trashveling, which is a visit to the dirtiest area in Bali and educate the society.
Some of the activities that will be held at the festivals are workshop on waste management, documentary screening with the environment theme, discussion, mural painting, photography exhibition and many more. There will also be performances from Jangar, Lily of the Valley, Rollfast, Natterjack, Zat Kimia and Navicula.
