To celebrate the appointment of Chef Degan, Padma Resort Legian and Padma Resort Ubud are delighted to present a series of culinary events, starting from Chef Degan’s Cook Out where he demonstrates his cooking magic, transforming his finest spice paste “bumbu kuning” into multiple creations. This cooking demo will take place in Delonix Ballroom at Padma Resort Legian, on Friday 20 October 2017 from 3pm until 5pm. The price is at IDR 300,000 nett per person, inclusive of snacks, refreshment and a voucher to S.K.A.I Culinary Festival, valued at IDR 150,000. On the same day, starting 5pm, there will be the very first launch of SCF (S.K.A.I’s Culinary Festival) at S.K.A.I Beach Club, displaying market-like food stalls and wines around the world with accompaniments, Manja Band, The Mangrooves, and S.K.A.I’s all star DJs. It is a free entry event with special price on food and wine.
The excitement will then continue to another fun cooking demo and a special wine dinner on the hills of Payangan at Padma Resort Ubud on Saturday, 28 October 2017. Pick Chef Degan’s brain as he demonstrates his cooking techniques using his secret recipes at 3pm until 5pm, in the Ballroom Foyer, followed by a tour around Padma Resort Ubud’s own Agro Forestry garden where some of the ingredients are harvested from. The wine dinner, Indonesian Culinary Art on International Stage, will be held on the same day at 6.45pm onwards, at The Puhu Restaurant and Lounge – featuring an array of Javanese and Balinese special dishes meet International, specially prepared by Chef Degan and Padma Resort Ubud’s Executive Chef, Ketut Sumerta.
