Looking Forward to Ubud Writers & Readers Festival, Two Tourists Died in Fatal Accident

Good day from Bali!

Two tourists from France and Switzerland died in a drunk-driving related accident in a Bali beach after running their motorcycle to beach rocks in a high speed on Saturday. The victims are 23-year-old Emilie Martine Canet from France and Lovid Vincent Dominique Lazeyras ( 23 ) from Switzerland who died after the motorcycle they were riding hit rocks in Pererenan Beach, 5 am on Saturday.

We’re looking forward to this weekend where speakers and writers from all over the world gathers again in the must-attend event for literary buff, Ubud Writers & Readers festival that’s entering its 12th year, from 26th to 30th October 2016. Headlining the event is are Suki Kim, the investigative journalist who went undercover in North Korea for her most recent book, Sudanese-American 2015 World Poetry Slam champ and social advocate Emi Mahmoud, foreign correspondent and Indigenous Australian author Stan Grant, and many more. We’ll see you in Ubud!

Another good news from Ubud, one of Bali’s best and most sustainable fine dining restaurant, Locavore, again received accolade, as one of the world’s best fine dining restaurant by TripAdvisor’s Traveler’s Choice Award 2016. Earlier this year, this restaurant was also awarded as one of the 50 Asia’s Best Restaurants. We congratulate the awesome Ubud restaurant.
