The biggest beach clean-up in Bali for a better and cleaner Bali
Bali, Indonesia 20 February 2017 – Inspiring Bali, The Island of Gods, is famous for its magnificent sunsets, intriguing culture, and unlimited beaches. Every year millions of tourists travel to Bali to discover its magical beauty. As key player in the hospitality industry, it is part of our duty and interest to preserve Bali’s natural heritage and keep the island green and clean.
Le Méridien Bali Jimbaran strongly supports the environmental initiative One Island One Voice and actively participated on Bali’s biggest beach clean-up jointly with the Bali Hotel Association BHA.
To commemorate the National Trash Day of Indonesia, BHA cleaned more than 20 beach locations all around Bali from trashes and debris. The event took place on Sunday, 19 February 2017, reaching out to hotels & resorts, same as to Balinese citizens and tourists.
