How do you celebrate a great independence day? By partying at the biggest EDM festival in Bali, that’s how. Last August 18th, we went to the first Pacha Festival in Bali and it was amazing. Here’s how it went.
Anantara Resort Seminyak was transformed and filled with cherries explosion that day. The whole resort was closed to give room for thousands of party goers, dancers, and 11 DJs to rock the night away. There are two stages; the main stage by the pool, and the rooftop stage at Moonlite. The party starts at 3 PM with a stellar performance from Danny Wade. Followed up with Dipha Barus, Leroy Styles, Roger Sanchez, Fedde Le Grand, Patrix Johnson and ended with the most-awaited Steve Angello. Meanwhile, the rooftop stage opens around 9 PM for those who want to enjoy the amazing music while chilling with some food. There, we got James Sullivan, Justin Strikes, Moski Love, J-Yap, and Leroy Styles.
There are so many things to celebrate that weekend, starting from the 72nd anniversary of Indonesia’s Independence Day. We also celebrate Pacha Festival’s 50th anniversary this 2017, and also the first Pacha Festival in South East Asia. The VIPs enjoy being so close to the DJ, while the regular tickets can dance by the beach and enjoy the cool breeze. The lighting, the sound, and entertainment were spectacular, making all the DJs act so interactive and one-of-a-kind. Especially when Steve Angello closed the night with his hit songs and fireworks started to light up Bali’s sky. It was a party that we won’t soon forget. Can’t wait for the next Pacha!
