Post Idul Fitri Vacationers Flood Bali & Other Updates

Good day from Bali!

Hope you had a good time throughout the Idul Fitri holiday; A week after Lebaran, Bali seems to be getting busier with domestic travelers traveling in for post Lebaran/school vacation holiday. The flow of travelers coming in and out of the island for the Lebaran holiday is expected to slow down starting from the end of this week.

News from Indonesia’s tourism, Sumba’s Nihiwatu has been named as number one hotel in the world, voted by Travel + Leisure readers globally for its annual World’s Best Awards. Re-imagined and re-opened in 2015, Nihiwatu has quickly captivated travelers from all corners of the world.

Kuta’s Waterbom Bali has also been named second best in the world and number one in Asia by travel planning and booking site TripAdvisor for its 2016 Traveler’s Choice Awards. Definitely a proud moment for Indonesia!
