The Stones Hotel – Legian, Bali – Marriott Autograph Collection partners with Scholars of Sustenance to provide sustenance for underprivileged children in Bali Bali
The Stones Hotel – Legian, Bali – Marriott Autograph Collection signed a partnership with Scholars of Sustenance Bali, a non-profit food rescue organization who are on a mission to provide healthy and delicious food for the underprivileged community in Bali. Daryn Hudson, General Manager of The Stones Hotel – Legian, Bali stated, “We strive to be the force of good and are committed to serve the Balinese community through one of Marriott International’s core values.”
As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility program, The Stones Hotel will be giving away excess food from daily Food & Beverage operations within the hotel. This food will be collected daily by SOS Bali. Excess food from the hotel will then be weighted and examined in SOS Bali’s office to determine the quality of the food and once passed the quality check will be distributed to the needy in various areas in Bali.
Duaine James, Director of Operations, stated, “We are grateful for the generosity of The Stones Hotel and their commitment to give back to the community. We do hope other businesses in Bali will be keen to join this initiative.”
