Aren’t you just happy seeing all the kites in the sky?
When July and August come, we can be sure that the Kite Festival is upon us. This is one of the highlights in Bali’s annual events, right after Bali Arts Festival and before Sanur Village Festival starts. You can see big giant kites that represent different areas being showcased at Padanggalak area or Mertasari Beach in Sanur. No kidding, these kites could be up to 10 meters long and 4 meters wide. It is so big that the cars transporting them to the beach often causes traffic jam. But it is all worth it!
This weekend, we are proud to be the media partner for the first ever Bali Japan Matsuri 2017 event. This event is presented by API magazine and Ayodya Resort and will be held on the 22-23 July 2017 at the Grand Ballroom of Ayodya Resort Bali. This event is FREE and will showcase the culture of both Japan and Indonesia. They will have various workshops, such as origami, batik, ikebana, bon odori, Indonesian dances and grafitti art. The Ramen Street is also not to be missed.
There are lots of new reviews coming in this week. We tried the newly opened JI Terrace by the Sea; we meet the new chef at Rosso Vivo and tried his new menu; we also got to be the first one to try Motel Mexicola new menus. One review you shouldn’t miss if you’re planning to visit Canggu, is the one we had on Aston Canggu Beach Resort. Check them out!
Have a great week,
