Manpower Minister Hanif Dhakiri said his ministry will intensify the monitoring of foreign workers to prevent tourists who enter Indonesia on the visa-free policy from illegally working in the country, The Jakarta Globereports.

From Lampung, The Way Kambas National Park was officially declaredthe 36th Asean Heritage Park on Monday (25/07). The national park – which serves as a home for endangered wildlife such as the Sumatran elephant and Sumatran tiger – was selected as a conservation area during the last previous Asean Heritage Park hearing.

Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort’s rooftop restaurant, MoonLite Kitchen and Bar has been selected by the editor of Conde Nast Traveler as one of the 10 Best Rooftop Bars in the World. MoonLite Kitchen and Bar is the only Indonesian rooftop bar featured on the list — a significant milestone for the newly renovated restaurant, read more about it here.

Since 2008, the Bali beach clean-up program has employed a crew of 75 locals who help keep Bali’s beaches clean everyday—from the Kuta, Kedonganan, Jimbaran, Seminyak, and Legian beaches. Due to the efforts of volunteers and the local community, over 24 million tons of trash has been collected and 80,000 sea turtle eggs have been protected!
