Bali, September 2016 – Celebrating the start of Bali’s Spring and dry season, and also a listing in the Top 10 Best Rooftop Bars in The World by Conde Nast Traveler, MoonLite Kitchen and Bar is launching 10 mouthwatering new dishes in September 2016, alongside two signature cocktails, expertly crafted by Chef Brandon.
MoonLite Kitchen and Bar is renowned for its unique rooftop culinary experiences. A lustful menu of modern Asian cuisine is cooked in the open kitchen and savoured in the Balinese-inspired dining room or on the open air deck with panoramic Indian Ocean views.
Refreshing the gastronomic offering, Chef Brandon and team unveils 10 brand new main course creations – each celebrating Asian diverse flavours in a uniquely delicious way. Eight new meat dishes include an Indonesian specialty of “Grilled Pork Belly Satay”. Chinese inspired creations comprise a dish of “Sichuan Bacon, Lap Cheong Sausage, Green Beans, Spring Onion and Poached Egg On Top” and a “Sweet Soy & Star Anise Whole Braised Pork Knuckle served with Shiitake Mushroom and Green Beans”. “Nasi Lemak with Honey Chili Chicken” spoils diners with a Singaporean favourite, in addition to “Cashew Chicken, Capsicum and Soy Garlic Sauce”, “Char Siu Siu, Flaky BBQ Pork Pastry”, and “Stir Fried Ox Tongue Cooked with Shallots, Lemon and Basil”. The rich aromas of Thai cuisine are captured in the “Roast Duck Red Curry with Lychees, Grapes and Basil”.
Sensational seafood dishes include a tropical Indian-influenced “Madras Curry Steamed Mussels with Coconut, Lime and Coriander”, and a gourmet twist on an Asian classic with the “Lobster Fried Rice served with Shrimp, Sichuan Bacon and Lap Cheong Sausage, Poached Egg, Green Beans & Spring Onions”.
The trendy MoonLite Bar boasts an extensive selection of classic and contemporary beverages, including seductive cocktails. Proving its unique popularity, MoonLite Bar is listed in the Top 10 Best Rooftop Bars in the World by Conde Nast Traveler 2016. Raising the bar even higher, the cocktail menu now features two new special concoctions. These refreshing new recipes pay tribute to Bali’s tropical fruits and precious spices with a “Snooty Hurricane” blending vodka, lychee liqueur and local grapefruit, and a “Spiced Tea” mixing black tea and rum.
“Spring is the perfect inspiration to elevate our menus at MoonLite Kitchen and Bar. We are extremely excited about the menu additions, and know our customers will be too,” said Chef Brandon.
MoonLite Kitchen and Bar is open daily from 4.30 pm – 11.00 pm.
